I conduct qualitative and quantitative research to advocate for accessible and inclusive design that benefits all users.
“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
– Annie Dillard
I’m an Accessible and Inclusive Learning and Design Researcher offering expertise from fifteen years of teaching, curriculum design, research, assessment, and project management experience.
I believe that UX research has the power to improve quality of life, which is an endeavor I find equally as meaningful as teaching others about the power of storytelling.
Research
I’m passionate about making sure that all people are heard.
My research philosophy prioritizes attention to nuance and detail at each stage of the story, from foundational generative understanding of where users are coming from and what their needs are, to the conflict stage of directional evaluative research, to the resolution stage that requires persuasive storytelling to get stakeholders rooting for what you claim.
